No one can stop Sebastian Vettel.
That’s what the betting market indicates anyway, with online bookmaker Sportsbet opening Vettel as the $2.00 favourite to win the 2014 championship.
Unsurprisingly, Vettel has already attracted 95% of betting in the market, with Lewis Hamilton the next best backed at $5.50.
Australia’s Daniel Ricciardo is considered a $21 chance, with Fernando Alonso ($6.00), Kimi Raikkonen ($7.50) and Jenson Button ($15) also amongst the top hopes.
“Punters are already considering it a fairly safe bet that Vettel will be the man to beat again. We haven’t seen a person dominate a market this early for quite some time,” said Sportsbet Australia’s Shaun Anderson.
