The Street Boss three-year-old has been well backed by punters with online bookmaker Sportsbet Australia and is the $4.50 second pick for the Group 3.
Hucklebuck is the $3.70 favourite, but VRC Derby winner Polanski ($8.50) is well in commission, while Prince Harada looms at $6.00.
“Hucklebuck heads the market, but punters have narrowed it down to Polanski and The Quarterback. Both have been heavily backed with daylight to the rest,” sportsbet’s Ben Hawes said.
In Lightning Stakes betting, Samaready has received solid support and has firmed from $3.75 into $3.50. Other fancies, Snitzerland ($4.50) and Bernabeu ($6.00) have eased.
Sportsbet will refund punters their bet on the Lightning Stakes if their selection runs second.
